A Familiar Face Seen Stretching Through Town
Earlier today, a local woman by the name of Rose Butler has been seen stretching themselves over and around Bog Town's buildings.
Rose Butler is a well known ironsmith and life long resident of Bog Town, who's smithy is located a mile from the town proper. For some unknown reason, Rose had awoken this morning to find her body had become as soft as putty and as stretchy as rubber. "Gosh yeah, Just woke up and my entire body was a tangled and gooey mess! I was all over my bedroom! Just, suddenly I'm made out of dough now, it's crazy, but maaaaaan is it fun as ****! Oh, sorry, I shouldn't be using that kinda language hehe..."
"What I'm most confused about though, after I've snapped myself out of a panic attack. This new body just... felt like second nature to me? Like, I've always known how to stretch and shapeshift and stuff... Like nothing really changed."
"Now, to set the record straight since I've heard some whispers already. I will not be dressing up in a silly outfit and calling myself a superhero, I'll still be your friendly neighbourhood blacksmith, just more goopy now is all. I will ofcourse use these powers for good when I can, but I'm not quitting my day job anytime soon. Unless it's like, urgent, I guess?"
Bog Town hasn't seen a superpowered person ever since the retirement of local vigilante The Silver Stretch back in 1997, who also had similar elastic powers. Rose Butler is currently back at home and filling in orders at her smithy.
